Hey guys, I gave a Asus ROG GL552VW, which comes with a M.2 slot. I just installed my adata 128 GB SSD and im having alot of trouble with it. the drive shows up in my bios, but for some reason when i try to set it up in disk manager it shows this error message and oddly the size is wrong as well. Mircosoft support was useless as usual and Asus wasnt much help as well. Anyone on here can give me some advice on how to fix this???Screenshot (20).png

I'm not overly familiar with these things, especially if its an NVME drive, but usually when you plug an m.2 drive, its not directly plug and play. you often need to go into your bios (even though its recognized) and tell it to run in a certain way. M.2 bus often shares bandwidth with other things like a PCIE port or SATA express, so be sure to check your laptop manual and ensure that you don't have anything else plugged into the shared areas. If you have already done these steps, then I'm at a loss.

I'm sorry I couldn't be more help than that. I don't really know enough about these things to give you a specific answer.

Googled the error message and this is the first thing that popped up: http://www.wikihow.com/Fix-a-Cyclic-Redundancy-Check-Error

Hopefully that resolves it, I've never seen that error before.
