Based on the prices I've seen for this car on Amazon, I'd say you pretty much paid exactly what it was worth. That being said, if you were able to save up another $100 or so, you could have gotten a GTX 1070. On that note, the GTX 1060 is going to be out soon (or it is out now, I don't know) which is going to cost about half the price you paid for the same (if not better) performance

Edit: YubinTheBunny makes a good point about the CAD thing.

I'd think you need to clarify location an currency first.

Else you aren't gonna get the replies you think you would be getting.

I'm in New Zealand, and well, how much do you find a GTX 1080 there? Because the cheapest GTX 1080 here is about $1450 NZD. That being said, The G1 Gaming 1080 sells for $1499 here, which on newegg I see is $649. That is about a 2.3NZD per USD comparative exchange rate. I bought the card (980 Xtreme) For $608.65 after rebate, and if I calculated correctly, it's about $270 USD, if using the *Comparative Exchange Rate* (CER).

That card retails for $999 over here, which means the comparative exchange rate is almost 2.5 NZD per USD.

With that all being stated, the card itself holds an USD Value of $251, which I feel like is a Pretty Good deal.

Btw: That $430 is straight Exchange rate. No CER involved.

It was $ (USD) in the direct exchange rate, but then I compared other products and found the average comparative rate, and it was worth much less in USD than I anticipated for.
