hi i'm not sure If i would put this in here but i have a small problem annoying problem

My mouse freezes randomly doing anything on my computer. Its just stops working for a few seconds then it comes back. I have tried  reinstalling drivers, updating drivers, cleaning the mouse ball. Would like to see if anyone else can give me something to fix it.

EDIT 1: I think I found the source of the problem. When I tried troubleshooting my mouse it says that my mouse is connected to a USB 3.0 port ( my mouse is a USB 2.0 ) so it tells me to move the port and plug it into a USB 2.0 Port. I did as it said and it still has the same error. I have a screenshot. I tried reinstalling my chipsets didn't work.

If your mouse still has a mouse ball in it, it is probably over 10 years old and is just worn out. My best recommendation is to get whatever new mouse that you can get for the money that you have on hand or going to get. You can easily find a decent mouse on amazon for around 10 us dollars. https://www.amazon.com/Zelotes-T60-Ergonomic-Optical-Computer/dp/B01HBU6UC8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1468201287&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=computer+mouse&psc=1
