yes it is possible but it is much harder than you might think. I think the average click on a adsense add is about 1% of your visitors (it could be 10% but i am pretty sure its 1%) Plus you need to amass a following that enjoys your content (so the keep coming back) which is pretty hard to do especially in tech.
