Is this normal?

that seems awfully high, I'm folding on a 7850 and I'm getting an estimated 22,000ppd. if you've only just strarted it might take a wu or 2 to settle in.

It has been running for about 3 hours.

once its finished that wu it will probably sort itself out, here is what mine looks like. seeing that we are both folding on 7800 series cards the ppd should be about the same

Ya, the Client PPD calculator is often wacked. It will eventually sort itself out. Be nice though if you somehow got that bonus! :)

yeah... I don't think so. I get estimations of 130k ppd at most with a 7970 @1000/1450, and my 8350@4.4... no way a 7870XT is gonna beat a 7970, no matter how overclocked the 7870XT is....

I get about 7.5 hrs per 0x17 WU.... that's 3.2WU's per day from my gpu. my last 0x17 WU was worth 26656 points, so let's say each WU is worth 26500 points. that's only about 85k ppd.... with my 7970, if I was folding on it 24 hrs a day. ..

so... either the ppd calc is trolling you... or AMD came out with a graphene-based gpu, didn't tell anybody, and then disguised it as a 7870XT...
