80 CPU temp with Prime is a bit high for the H100i - you make want to check that it is seated properly. There was another thread today on exact same issue, and that is what it turned out to be.

Well it's at ~77c OCed to 4.429Ghz at full load with prime. Water temp holding at ~33.5c.

If that still seems odd, with a reseat, could I need/want to replace thermal compound?

Well, if you do reseat it, best bet is to take that oportunity to put on some better compound, like MX-4, Arctic Silver 5, etc. What is your voltage at?

Dammit, though I had some arctic around. I'll need to table re-compounding it. Re-seated, accidentally sheared off one of the risers. Replaced with my old H100 backplate and risers. Still hovering around 75-80c on the core. 4.3Ghz OC. CPU Voltage according to Asus 1.325.

CPU Voltage - 1.325

DDR Voltage - 1.5

VCCSA V .925

CPU PLL V - 1.8

PCH Voltage - 1.05

CHADATA/CHA CTRL/CHB DATA/CHB CTRL - .5

I am also running push-pull on the rad. Haven't crossed past 80c yet after about 10 minutes.

Ya - was going to say on the first - 1.3x is HIGH.The auto always puts way more voltage (and then heat) then needed. By manually setting, you can usually use a lot less voltage and hence a lot less heat. Looks like you are getting good temps now.

Why is it these smart systems always overvolt so much? Stable at 4.4Ghz at 1.245 volts. Ran Prime95 no errors for 4 hours last night. Ridic.

For some reason also, when I switched on RAID to setup my RAID 5 array, windows would BSOD on boot, even with safe mode. That made me a little angry. Re-install, no issues since. shrug.

I know - all systems seem to run massive over volts on auto.

As for the RAID5 - if you enable it after installing Windows, the issue could be there are no raid drivers. So BSOD. Re-install, which loads the drivers as well, and all good. :)

Right, that's what me and my cousin thought as well, a driver issue with the raid, but usually safe-mode handles that. Just was odd to see. It was also odd to see my backup installation of windows correctly load up with the new hardware even though it was installed with the old hardware.
