There may hopefully be a license key for Windows on the bottom of the laptop somewhere, if it's not embedded in the BIOS.

If the license key is printed on the laptop, I would recommend just doing a clean install of Windows 10, which should accept your Windows 8 product key.

If there is no license key printed on the laptop it's probably stored in the motherboard/BIOS, so I would re-install Windows 8 and try the upgrade to 10 again.

There is no problem about license. the windows automatically activate the key once i install the OS

yes, after installing the windows but it wont be long until the error appear again

If you can, try booting into Safe Mode. In the log in screen, there are power options on the bottom right hand corner. Open that, then hold Shift when you click Restart. Click Troubleshoot, then Advanced Options, then Startup Settings, then click Restart. Upon startup you will be given a bunch of options, hit F4 for Safe Mode. If it boots up fine under Safe Mode, it's most likely a video driver issue. That's what kept both my desktop and laptop from logging in when I upgraded to Windows 10. See if that's the issue.

Just something to keep in mind.

You can boot (by force turning off the system during boot time 3 times in a row), into Safe Mode with Network, to download and/or install Windows 10 drivers for the system.

Windows is probably installing the Windows 8 drivers, or the wrong drivers due to miss detection, and probably the screen resolution is out of bound for the laptop display, or simply it is outputting on the HDMI output, as it thinks it is the main display or something along those lines.

okay i think i found the problem, the windows can't detect laptop's monitor after doing windows update. i can still control my pc with team viewer but the display still didn't show anything. and no it's not hardware problem I did run the hardware test and everything seems okay besides it flashes out DELL logo before booting into blank screen. any ideas how to fix this ?
