Im looking to get a new psu for my build im currently using a cx600 to power my rig.

Specs :

Cpu: Core i5 3570k not oc

Ram : 32gb ram

Gpu: MSI GTX 980

Case: Coolermaster Cosmos 2

List of psu options im looking at

1) Coolermaster CM STORM Edition GX750

2) Thermaltake Toughpower 750W 80+ Gold

3) CM STORM Edition GX650

4)  Antec TP-750c

I would like to know do I even need 700w ++ or im fine with 600-650w ? Also rank the 3 options in order from good to bad. I just want a reliable unit that would support sli in the future and also not fail on me . A lot of people said to switch from the CX 600 to something better as it is a bad unit

Unfortunately theres no EVGA psu units available. Only Thermaltake,Antec ,Corsair and Coolermaster.

Are Antec High Current Gamer units available? A 620W one of those would do well.

Corsair RMi or RMx are good, but can be a little expensive.

corsair RM650x should do you good. pretty certain it'll run fanless at least up to a medium system load as well.

offcourse, that depends on what they're priced like, corsair pricing kinda swings all over the place depending on location.

Its out of my budget though. Any of the above 4 sufficient to run sli gtx 980 in the future or be sufficient and not blow ?

Do you have a site you could link me to where you're buying from and your budget for the PSU?

None of the PSUs would be in any danger of blowing or anything, but they're not great.

The Antec TPC-650 would be my suggestion out of those available.

Of those the Toughpower is the best.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

But the Toughpower is one of OPs few options, it's a good PSU.
