I just want to confirm as I am not sure with R9 280x.

R9 280x on its own needs more than 160W? About how much Wattage is needed on its own?

Thank you very much for your response.. It's very important to me especially you're the only one who responded.

Safely I would say allot 250W to the card with overclocks on its own.

Hello.

My specs are listed on my signature..

I do have an Uninterruptible Power Supply from APC which is 650VA 325W.

Having R9 280x, it seems that 325W is not enough at full load. But It's not very far off.

I checked youtube and I saw one video showing a system w/ R9 280x at full load only pulling around 350-380W.

I recently sold my R9 280x and planning to purchase RX 480. I am thinking that RX 480 should have lower power consumption.

If that's the case then good for me because I dont need to purchase new UPS as I have limited budget.

I wonder about how much less would RX 480 pull from the outlet.

I hope someone with RX 480 check his power pull at full load or maybe someone can share a link from youtube if there already is.

A 480 on its own needs around 160W to operate so don't worry unless you have a 9590 to power as well.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Wow! That is 90W more than RX 480. Assuming it isnt accurate even getting 50W less would do good for me.

Thank you again buddy. :)
