Hello, i want to replace my dead PSU, im between a 850w and a 750w, Platinum or Gold.

My choice was the EVGA but since its out of stock, i will get the Super Flower Leadex, now, shall i go for 850w or the 750w? P or G?

My system:

6700k

2 SSD

will add a M.2 SSD in the future,

2 HDDs

GTX 1070, might upgrade to SLI soon

H110i cpu cooler

4 case fans

850 seems more future proof for upgrades, so, the question is, shall i get 750 P or 850 G?

You could easily get either without any trouble, which is cheaper or are they the same price.

Well just get the 750W gold then even with sli your system shouldn't be reaching 750W since the 1070 is so power efficient (at max load you probably only would draw 600W with sli but some headroom is good)

Yeah 30 euros more doesn't seem worth the extra 100W since you shouldn't need it, I'd get the 750W G (after overclock 1070 may get closer to 200W so x2 = 400W+100W for the 6700k = 500W, 40W for the drives, 20W for the fans, and lets say 50W for the pump since I can't find it's wattage, that totals to 610W so you're perfectly fine with 750W and gold is plenty efficient)

You can SLI two 1070s with a 650 watt power supply, so even 750 watts is overkill.

As far as "future proof" goes, new computer parts tend to use less power than before. Adding an M.2 SSD and some RAM wouldn't even stress a 650 watt, so you'll never need more than 750 watts.

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.

i5-6600, 16Gigs, ITX Corsair 250D, R9 390, 120Gig M.2 boot, 500Gig SATA SSD, no HDD

The Super Flower Leadex has all the issues people overhyped about the actually unaffected EVGA units a couple months ago. They basically can't deal with unreliable power delivery. Not the end of the world but I don't know how good power is in your area.

A Seasonic X-series would be a solid choice.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
