Linus Tech Tips - Unigine Valley 1.0 Benchmark Thread ***Post your scores***

Face2Face

Ok, So I ran the bench again and these numbers. With my MSI GTX 770 Lightning Edition

Why does this benchmark give different numbers every time?

Core: 1381    Memory: 4005

00000_zps93be3065.png

I think your core OC is unstable cause your minimum fps is caused by a stall in the benchmark. Try turning the core down or upping your voltage. GL

Corsair 250d - - Delidded i7 4770k @ 4.4GHz (1.15v) - - Asus Maximus VI Impact - - Corsair h100i

Asus DirectCU II OC GTX780 - - NZXT x41 & G10 w/ Push/Pull Noctua IndustrialPPC's - - Corsair ax760i

16GB Corsair Vengeance 2133Mhz  - - Samsung 840 pro (boot) - - Samsung Evo (gaming) - - WD green HDD (data)

I hope no one with 3 titans will take my crown! :D

You have a lot more room with your cards. Valley likes both core and memory overclocks. I am seeing some GTX 780's In SLI hitting in the 130 Fps range.

So I was playing around with my overclocks it was at +75 on the core went down to +50 and got a score of 2137 go figure that one out. How do you verify the clocks on GPUZ when the bench is running?

Have GPU-Z running in the background while benching and when the bench is done, click on the downward facing arrow and click on the max setting for both core and memory.

core@1306MHz, Mem@7810MHz. I think we could both take our core clock  higher but i dont wanna add too much voltage. I am able to keep the thermals between 64-69c stressing, so in theory i can go higher, but i am fine with 1306MHz. Call me a scaredy cat.  :P

Thank you. Can I also get your clock speeds? Valley doesn't show correct clocks with GPU Boost Nvidia cards. Your correct clock speed will be shown in GPU-Z

4770k @ 4.5ghz (1.175v)

GTX 780 @ 935mhz (974 boost) Memory clock 1502mhz

hmmm I'm doing +50 on the core, and +500 on the memory. Serious overclockers are getting 1450MHz stable on air but you need to use another program to set the values since AB only goes so high. OK so I got 2137 for the score. Gpu-z recorded MAX CORE @1306MHZ and MAX MEMORY @ 2000MHZ. Thought it was suppose to be more MHz for the memory like since the card says 7Ghz for the memory on the box. Any ideas why GPUZ only reading 2000MHZ?

  • 4 weeks later...

Just for fun.

My system is a bit lacking in the GPU department, hopefully next Christmas bonus can help there :)

This is the non-OC run.

This is my current stable setup.

I think I could pretty easily squeeze a bit more, just feeling lazy.
