Just messing around on PC Part Picker... It's like a game or a puzzle for me. While I alredy have a $2000+ dollar machine I like parting new builds.

Once I get a good solid build and the LTT Community approves it, I submit it over on my film software's forum :)

So let me know what ya think: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/8FfNNN

Why would you spend the money on an overclockable CPU, just to get a motherboard that can't overclock?

Gasp.... I didn't notice the board wasnt OCable. Good eye haha thought that board seemed to cheap to be true. I was mainly looking that the CPU's 4.0.

1) you are pairing a K series CPU with non Z series chip set, K series CPU has unlocked multipliers , so that you can O.C your CPU but in order to that you need a Z170 chipset otherwise you will not be able to change the multipliers ( in short you will not be able to O.C your CPU ). If you want to O.C your CPU than you have to buy a Z series chip set with a compatible socket

2) PSU is really good, but there are PSU  which can provide same build quality at less price

3) why are you going with 980Ti when GTX 1070 is available at market, GTX 1070 will give you slightly better performnce + more Vram at similar price point.

4) Why are you going with 4th gen when 6th gen is available at market with same price point.

Ahh good point, VRAM is very important while Cuda is not for the video editing software "HitFilm"

The 480 or even the 390x would be a great swap :)

Why the chang of case, SSD, and PSU though?
