I'm trying to find a cpu for a Msi 970 motherboard

So I got a computer for my birthday and from look at it I need to upgrade it a lot. So I figured I should start with the motherboard. I picked one out which is Msi 970 and I need to know what kinds of Amd cpu will work

Quick question though will a fx 6100 work for it as well

If you could up your budget by like 18$ I would recommend the AMD FX-8320. It has 8 cores and 3.5 GHz which can be overclocked easily if you buy an aftermarket cooler.

Well like around $60-$80 that the budget but I can spend up to $120 but I really don't like that idea
