I have already got the 24 pin down but i need 2 8 pin connectors for my GPU which is PCI-E cables but what about the 8 pin for the mother board? do I use 4+4 pin EPS cables? or 8 pin EPS or PCI-E cables????? SO CONFUSED!!! X( please help and thanks

The pin layout for PCIe compared to the CPU is different so you need to use either a 4+4 EPS or 8 pin EPS cable but don't use a PCIe cable.

4+4 EPS are for the CPU connector. 8 EPS is the same, just one single cable. For your GPU, you'll need to get 6+2 or a single 8 PCI-E cable.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X | CPU Cooler: Stock AMD Cooler | Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI) | RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (4x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 CL16 | GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB Zotac Mini | Case: K280 Case | PSU: Cooler Master B600 Power supply | SSD: 1TB  | HDDs: 1x 250GB & 1x 1TB WD Blue | Monitor: 24" Acer S240HLBID | OS: Win 11 Pro.

Home Lab:  Lenovo ThinkCenter M82 Hyper-V Server 2022 | Dell OptiPlex 9020 Hyper-V Server 2022 | TP-LINK TL-SG108E | Cisco Catalyst C2960CG 8 Port Switch | HP MicroServer G8 SCCM Server | 2x Dell PowerEdge R630 Hyper-V Server 2022

but there is a 4+4 EPS connector and an 8 EPS connector, which one do I use for a micro  ITX motherboard?

A 4+4pin EPS and 8pin EPS are the same thing if your motherboard only has a 4 pin power connector you can just the 4+4 pin.

How can I tell if  EVGA Z170 Stinger Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard uses a 4+4 pin or a straight 8 pin? P.S thanks for all the help

Either will work a 4+4 pin is equivalent to a 8pin EPS they are exactly the same connector just split to make things easier for motherboards that use only a 4pin EPS. For that motherbaord it has the regular 8 pin so either the 8 pin or 4+4pin EPS will work.

Oh shet thanks man your a legend!!! so say if your motherboard has 4 pins instead of the 8 pin port you see on this picture (like rub 4 of those ports on this pick out, thats when you use a 4+4 connector, plug in 4 of the 4 pins on the 4+4 conector and you dont need to use the rest right?

Yes you would leave the extra +4pins just to the side unconnected for just a 4pin EPS motherboard.
