iPhone 6s Display Adapter

So I'm looking to basically mirror my iPhone over to my monitor so I can watch movies and such on a bigger screen. There's the obvious Apple adapter that goes through the lightening port that connects to an HDMI which is exactly what I'm looking for except it has terrible reviews and is $50. I have terrible internet so mirroring over wifi wont work, curious if anyone knew a good adapter/way to mirror the screen. Thanks!

What exactly do the negative reviews on the Lightning to HDMI adapter say?

That's probably your best bet.

"Doesn't scale to 1080p as advertised" "Broke within the first week" "Terrible signal and for some reason stopped working" "My monitor doesn't recognize the signal half the time" "The only thing this is good for is an extra 3" of charging cable that I paid $50 for" ETC...

First review isn't very specific on the device.

Rest of them sound pretty bad though.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

Yeah it's a total let down, read for yourself. http://www.apple.com/shop/reviews/MD826AM/A/lightning-digital-av-adapter

I never look at the reviews on Apples website, most people dont know what they are talking about. I love Apple, but most people who review their products are not the sharpest tools in the shed. Now idk what TVs and devices these people are using, and they all seem like very vague reviews. It is possible that the cable is crap......but I doubt that.
