"AMD Catalyst(TM) OpenMPI Driver" - constant CPU usage

There's this app always starting up when I boot up my PC and it seems to be constantly taking a slight percentage of CPU time. The process path is C:\Program Files\Common Files\Catalyst SDK MPI\stvmpid.exe

Running Windows 8.1 x64. GPU - Radeon R9 280X. Any ideas?

Its a part of the driver.  Although you have a outdated driver.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!
