Mysterious Corsair Memory?

I am trying to get a nice even system bit by bit, i'm aiming to upgrade my mobo to get 1600mhz ram speed compability (ddr3), i currently have a kit Of 2x8gb ballistics sport, and (the one i intend to keep) a kit of corsair vengeance pro 2x8gb at 2400mhz SILVER. i was going to replace the ballistic with the same ram once i get a new mobo but instead of silver ram have blue ram to make it look fancy, but i cant actually find any mysteriously enough, can anyone else? I even checked their website and found no trace of that ram but instead in blue. Can anybody else find them or do that just not for whatever reason exist.

Are you looking for blue ram? Just use a heat gun and remove the heat spreaders then paint it.

what you are looking for is corsair vengeance pro. You can find it easily on amazon.

Sometimes they don't make that specific kit. 

If you cant find it then theres your answer.

They don't make that specific kit.

The reason why is because they don't have enough 2x8GB sticks binned @ 2400MHz.

yeah the fastest i can find it in is 1866. they must not make it at ddr3-2400 for whatever reason. I would suggest buying another kit in grey and then removing the heat spreader and painting it. if you find a good matching color and do a good job taking it will look fine.

Because they don't bin that speed because DDR3 @ 2400MHz is a lot harder to come by.

It is most likely a limited run of that, like the orange corsair ddr4.

It isn't hard to come by, even crappy AFR Does it.
