I have never been on it myself but I just wanted to know if anyone had ever been on it and what they found there.

No but if you did then the FBI would know about it and they would monitor your IP address and internet history

I have to agree on the Legal part.I have been known to buy things which are not PC components.

I think there's no harm in accessing the network itself, if you are scared that you may see something creepy or disgusting, dont worry too much, what you search is what you get.

What if the Dark Web that is considered "Dark", is when your in a place without Internet access doing something illegal? Illuminati confirmed?

Just watch any browsing the dark web series on YouTube to get a feel of what it's like. You can buy pretty much anything from there from baking supplies to guns. Parts of the deep web are pretty harmless and some sites are even accessible from the clear web, but dig too deep and you'll come across some shady shit. 

Unless you're actively searching for bad stuff, you probably wont find it.
