New mouse to replace Razer Deathadder 3.5G

Hmm.. Mionix's Castor is a very good mice. Go with it. It is also cheap.

My old Deathadder of 7 years finally died.  I had no problems with the mouse's functionality and feel, but I really don't like the razer logo.  I'm wondering what else is available that is similar in feel and functionality.

Specifically, I want a 5 button mouse (or close to it).  Something with only two side buttons that are easy to reach, but not in the way.  I want it to have a similar simplistic clean styling.  I want it to have similar weight.  I'm a fingertip grip guy.  I don't game competitively or anything crazy like that.  Just want a good mouse that doesn't look terrible.

Examples of mice that I think look bad:

  • Most Logitech
  • Most Corsair

Examples of mice that I think look good:

  • Mionix's mice

I'm kind of leaning towards some Mionix action, but am curious what else is out there.

The Zowie EC-A series resemble the shape of the Deathadder without having any gimmicks and are driverless (there are DPI presets you can choose from). They come in two versions - EC1-A and EC2-A. Zowie mice use Huano switches, which are a bit stiffer than the Omrons found in the Deathadder and the Castor. They are usually the choice of most CS GO players.

The Mionix Castor is smaller than the EC2-A. It comes down to the shape you prefer and the features you need. They both use the same sensor.

Here's a comparison between the three I found:

Went with the Mionix Castor.  Fabulous mouse so far.
