I've got my self built pc for about 3 months. Just from yesterday, i noticed a static noise whenever i have a tiny little lag. It's not just in games. While browsing on chrome or opening new tabs, it occur. Even when refreshing the page

The noise sounds like when your earpiece jack is about to fray and have to bend a side to hear. I've tried reinstalling my driver, realtek HD audio. For a while it's fine. But about 5 mins later it came back. Any idea?

This is probably not it but is any audio setting set to 100%? Do to headphones have their own audio adjustment? Is Realtek HD Audio set to 100%? Is windows volume set to 100%? Sometimes when this is the case it can result in this issue.

Nope. Usually I have my volume at 30 and rarely touch it. Also i'm using a standard cheap earpiece. but i've tried with other earpiece and headphones, It's the same result.

Hmm...another shot in the dark here buuuuuut...did you try reinstalling your display driver? Sometimes display drivers install an audio driver with it for things like HDMI audio pass through. Uninstalling the video driver, doing advanced/custom install durring re-install might stop any kind of driver conflict if you're using the dedicated driver for your motherboard.

Just tried. I'm thinking it might be some processing issue. Even while watching a video the sound stutters. But my video doesn't

Did you try another pair of headphones?

I get the feeling it's a software issue. Look through your installed programs and see what other program besides Realteck HD Audio are installed. Alternatively you can see if a windows update is available and see if that does anything. If not...try updating BIOS? If still nothing...sorry out of ideas. I had a similar issue on my $400 motherboard. I'd get random audio glitches durring video playback. No matter what setting i changed, no matter what driver or update i installed the issue persisted. Then one day...the glitches just stopped...haven't heard them since and never discovered what caused them.
