ASUS RAIDR Questions - VMWare Caching, RAID1

I have no idea why this drive isn't more widely talked about, but my father has a VMWare setup, he plans to build a new one entirely and he was wondering;

1. Can the ASUS RAIDR PCI-E SSD can be used as a cache for VMWare?

2. Can the RAIDR be set to run in a RAID1 configuration(it's set as a RAID0 under the AHCI controller)?

I've Googled around, but to no avail do people talk about this drive in this matter. I know OCZ supports caching with their Revo drives, but those are outdated and overly expensive.

If anyone can provide some clarification about this matter I'd be extremely grateful :)
