Need help with cat 6 routing

I have recently run a cable from my router to my pc to by pass wireless internet for gaming. I am wondering if a split the cat 6 with a splitter and run one cable to my xbox and one to my pc if the performance will be the same or decrese?

they would share the bandwith of that cable but is running another cable an option?

Well you would need a switch to have multiple devices on that one line but it would basically be split between the two throughput wise if you were hammer both of them.

I hope that by splitter you meant switch. They aren't that expensive for a 5 or even 8 port switch and it would be the proper solution for your problem
