friend wants a pre build

My friend who happens to be a lazy prick doesnt want to build a computer, he rather just buy it prebuilt, what are some good computers for at home work, some gaming, surfing the web, basically basic things for around $600-$700

Why don't you build him one. Tell him to give you the money and then build it. or make him buy the parts?

M8, i hear alienware make sick pcs. In seriousness though wait till rx 480 released and see if you can manage to find one with an I5 and the rx 480 and it will be half decentish.

Don't tell him - what he doesn't know can't hurt him :D - just build the thing and tell him it's a pre-built.

On a more serious note - try to explain to him that the PSUs in pre-built machines are a fire hazard.
