Edit.:God, im a douche. That's fahrenheit, isnt it? Thats only about 50 celcius, that should be fine as a load temp.

120 F = about 48 C.... typical idle temps are around the 30 C area. a CPU can run anywhere below 75 C without losing ANY of its lifespan, and can operate just fine 75-85C for a few years under standard usage (your mileage can vary on these numbers depending on the exact CPU you use). You should only get worried if you start running constantly over 180-190 F

 

I have a 6700k with a mild overclock on an AIO water cooling, and it only gets to about 150-160F under load. That is still very acceptable numbers. and you aren't even close to that yet. your temps are quite good =)

 

 

 

Although if you have your heart set on a new CPU cooler, good budget options are the Hyper 212 (or 212X), the Cryorig H7, or something along those lines.
