The RMi has a better fan though as the RMx has a rifle bearing fan and the RMi has a fluid dynamic. If you want quiet then you can grab a Seasonic fanless but a passive PSU like the RMi/RMx or G2 are also good options.

Opening a power supply is not a problem if you have at least 2 clues.
