Hello all!

I recently completed my first custom loop. but i think my cpu temp under load is not good. Here are my specs

I7 4790k(at stock)

GTX 980ti reference

1 ek 120mm slim rad

1 ek 240mm slim ra

EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 PWM (incl. pump)

ek supremacy evo and Titan X water block

Ambient temp around 21 C

Res/pump > GPU > 120rad > CPU > 240rad > Res

NZXT S340

When i running AIDA 64 stress test, the cores hit above 70 C,i have removed and reinstalled my CPU water block, it did not work, temps at idle are ok, around 30~ 35 C, is it normal?

but my GPU temps are fine, below 50C under full load.

Any Suggestions or advice are greatly appreciated!

What are your temps then? You didn't give us any, we can't tell just by your CPU.

EDIT:
Ok, I see you edited the first post. The temps seem fine for a normal setup, but they should probably be a little lower in a custom loop. We need to wait for some custom-loop experts to see, but I suggest to post a picture of your build, if that's not a problem.

In AIDA 64, do you stress just CPU or also FPU and cache?

If you stress test just CPU, temps should be lower.

I was using single 240mm rad for i7 4790 and GTX 1070. Temps went above 80°C, so I decided to upgrade with additional 360mm rad.

Had same case as you, and fitting everything inside was a nightmare. So I bought Define S, to fit 360mm + 240mm rad.

Waiting for 360mm rad + GPU to come from RMA to test temperatures.
