How do I stop a windows 10 update?

hello.

 I was wondering how to stop a windows 10 update. as in an update for windows 10 not the upgrade from 7 or 8 to 10

thanks. there is no pause button or a cancel option either DX

disable network awareness service and your windows won't know there's internet and will not try any updates unless you manually check for them

In the start menu, type Services and hit enter.

In the long list, search "Windows Update".

Right click and select "Disable".
