Hello

I am building my first pc as my laptop is not working anymore.

https://www.amazon.in/registry/wishlist/RGIX79HYHW2B/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_an_wl_o_SGABxbB7GM6NY

These are the parts I have selected.

Here are my queries :

1. Are all these parts compatible?

Although i have checked but i am still worried as it is my first build .

2. I have not selected a case as i worry about cable lenth of psu. What should i tale into consideration?top mounted or bottom mounted psu ? With either be long enough for all cables to the motherboard? How many fans i require ?

3. I have a laptop that came with Windows 7 which i then upraded via an offer to Windows 8. I received the key for Windows 8. Later i updated it to Windows 10 .Now that laptop is dead. Can i use that Windows 8 key in the new desktop and then upgrade it to Windows 10 ?

4. Also about static electricity while building. i researched a bit and found that it can affect components while building. Is only touching plastic parts okay?any advice?

5. I am a computer engineering student and have to develop an ios app as part of my final year project. So will thia config work as a hackintosh or can i run mac os virtually on windows while having smooth operation on xcode ? I need both windows and mac os(only for xcode).

6. Do i need a separate cooler or will the stock cooler work?

7. So i need to buy anything else except monitor keyboard mouse and case like cables or connectors etc?

I plan to use this for gaming as well as app/web/software development .

My budget ia 50000 INR and i live in India

Thanks in advance and any advice/help is appreciated.

the build is Fine, all those parts are compatible, you need at least 2 fans, 1 that intakes fresh air, and 1 that exahusts hot air, you can use the stock cooler theres no issues with it, as for a hackintosh i STRONGLY Suggest you Visit TonymacX86 For a compatible part list and instalation guide

If you stay in any of the major cities (Mumbai Delhi or Bengaluru) then get the parts locally as they are way cheaper. Even if that's not the case don't buy them from Amazon, it's way more expensive that other sites. Try these sites

Mdcomputers.in

Theitwares.in

Primeabgb.com

Use pcpartpicker only for checking the compatibility. Don't buy directly from there as amazon.com is the only supplier available.

I haven't ordered online as I live in Mumbai I get it locally but these are stores which provide all India shipping. I have been to Primeabgb and Theitware store as they are in Mumbai not to mdcomputers (Kolkata) though. You can check some Indian forums for reviews but I think they are very much reliable
