Nope. Unless you plan on ONLY using it with a Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S7, S7 Edge, or Note 5. That's it. That's all it works for (officially, at least, direct from Samsung). I'd recommend saving for a VR system for your computer, or going the Google Cardboard route and fixing up a way for it to sit like a cap would, without you having to hold it at all times during use.

Recommendation comes from first hand experience with Oculus Rift DK2, Gear VR, and Google Cardboard. Yes, the Gear VR is flipping neat and all, but it has a very limited application.
