So far my build is going to be something like this (I do not have any of the parts yet though):

Mobo:   Asus Maximus VIII Hero

CPU:   Intel 6th Gen Skylake i7 6700k

CPU Cooler:   Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2

RAM:   G.SKILL 16GB (2 x 8GB) TridentZ Series DDR4 3200Mhz

GPU:   Asus ROG Strix 1080

Storage:  Samsung 950 PRO 512GB PCIe NVMe (M.2)

Case:   MasterCase Maker 5

Cooling:   3 Phanteks PH-F140SP Red LED Fans

PSU:   EVGA SuperNOVA 750W G2 (80+ GOLD, Fully Modular)

OS:   Windows 10 (64 bit)

Monitor:   Acer Predator XB271HK (27-inch, IPS, UHD, G-Sync, 60hz, 1ms)

Keyboard:   Corsair Gaming K70 RAPIDFIRE Mechanical Keyboard (Red LED version)

Mouse:   Razer DeathAdder Chroma

Mousepad:   Vipamz® Extended Xxxl Gaming Mouse Pad

Headset:   HyperX Cloud Revolver Gaming Headset

This build will be a Red and Black color scheme so if you have any suggestions make sure the products are mainly red and black.

For my build, I will be buying the majority of the items from Amazon.

Please tell me your ideas and suggestions for this build:)

Well everything is fine , i would still add another Regular Mechanical hard drive just for storage and backups, but a single 1080 wont runn modern games at 4k at ultra some benchmarks say it hovers arround 40-50 fps, so id say getting 2 1070s or or just go for another 1080, or just drop the 4k thingy, is just a gimmick for gaming and waste of resources, it's still great for content creation tho

Main PC:| CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 @ 4.1, MOBO: Asus B350 PRIME , RAM: LPX Vengance 2400 16gb kit, GPU: 980Ti Poseidon Platinum 6gb
PSU: SilverStone Strider Gold Evolution 1200w , CASE: HAF 932  HDDs:240gb EX900 HP NVME 6TB (2x3 Seagate Barracuda)
                COOLING: ThermalTake Contac Silent 12
Laptop:MSI GL62 7RD  CPU: Core i5 7300HQ, RAM: 16GB 2400mhz, :GPU GTX 1050 2GB: HDDs: 256gb adata NVME + 1TB HDD

love all brands, will go for whats cheaper for my needs

Thanks, I would go for SLI, but not all games are compatible with SLI

Well, like 99% of AAA titles, that are the ones that wont run at 60fps on a single 1080, are mostly the ones that do support SLI, also the performance difference would be at least 15%-20% over current GPUs such as the Fury X or 980ti, so wont gain alot

you can also wait on the New VEGA AMD Flagship cards running HBM2, heres the thing, since HBM1 4gb cards ran on par with a 6gb 980ti and 12gb Titan X wich had way bigger memory pool, who knows maybe a 6gb HBM2 card would be the sensible thing for 4k gaming? anyways, the best answer here is just to wait for the Enthusiast Grade cards to game at 4k
(check out ultrawide 4k at 3860x1440, its a little less demanding than regular 4k)
