7970 if you want to buy now, you can find some at like 275$, some models by some retailers, but overall it's 300$ max. But even better, wait a few days (possibly ~2 weeks?) for the R9 GPUs, the R9-280X will retail for 300$ and is the equivalent, roughly, of the 7970Ghz. There will also be the R9-290X, but it will be more expensive, probably somewhere around 600$.

 

The good thing about the 7970 is that you will be able to get another one for CF for even cheaper, if the prices continue to drop in the following weeks. ;)
