Okay my new Plan:

The Seagate 2TB SSHD (I didn't find a name) (90€)

16GB DDR4 HyperX Fury

An i5 6500

The ASUS H110M-K

Still the Define R5 Case (I really like it)

A random LG DVD-Drive

I'm still deciding on the graphics card, because the 1070 is overkill but the 970 isn't quite good enough and the 980 (Ti) isn't woth it's price.

Your compromise will be the rx 480, seems to have the performance of a gtx 980 while being only $200usd.

Hey LTT Comunity

I'm going to build a PC for a friend and I  don't have too much experience with choosing the right Components so I'm searching for help here.

These are the Components I want to chose:

Spoiler

The Fractal Define R5 Case (without a window)

A GTX 1070 (not sure which manufractuere yet (any suggestions?))

An Intel i5 6600 (no overclocking wanted by him)

The Be Quiet! Pure Rock CPU Cooler

An Asrocks Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K4

16 GB of DDR4-2133 HyperX Fury

A 2TB SSHD

A DVD Drive

And the Be Quiet! Pure Power L8 500W powersupply

I can't choose anything more expensive because I'm right at the top of his budget.

Thanks for helping!

either get an i5 6600k to pair it with a z170 board, or get a h170/b150/h110 board, since you won't be able to overclock with an i5 6600 anyways.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

2 TB SSD seems a bit ridiculous, get a 240GB SSD for the OS and then a 2TB SSHD

Sorry for Bad English, Baguette here

Go for a i5 6500 (which is a much better bang for your buck CPU) and a H170 or B150 mobo.

Get rid of the Hybrid, a SSD + HDD combo would be a much better choice.

I'd also get a higher quality PSU. Something from EVGA's G2 or GS series would be excellent.

Okay I changed the sshd to a 240GB Kingston SSD (Samsung 850 is too expensive) and a 1TB HDD which should be more then enough.

I changed the motherboard to an ASRock H170-X1 (not sure about this one).

The 6600 is just 30€ more expensive so I would say it would be worth the little higer cost, but if the budget gets to low I'll change it for the 6500

I'm not still sure about the PSU, I'm going to look a bit more around.

You don't need to get a CPU cooler as the CPU already comes with one. You could just go with an H170 mobo as the CPU doesn't support overclocking. And instead of a 2 TB SSHD just get a 250 GB Samsung 850 EVO and a 1 TB WD Blue.

Didn't think of the stock cooler (I overclocked my PC so i didn't use mine)

And yeah I'll take the 850 evo; It's just the best ssd out there for a good price

The Kingston 240GB SSD V300

Don't get this, very slow for the money. The zotac premium 240gb right now is excellent for $55.

Dude. IF you are in tight budget you don't need an SSD. SSD are good but not necessary. You can run windows quite fine with just HDD and you can save up for a good deal later. The other people who commented on your thread said that you don't need separate CPU cooler and I agree with that. Also the motherboard you chose has features that you won't use as: USB 3.1,  Supports AMD Quad CrossFire. Use H110 as Herman suggested. They have all you will ever need, plus they cost a lot less. Also the Fractal Design R5 is a monster of a case. I have FD Core 3300 and its big itself and the R5 is even bigger. Look at Phanteks Enthoo Pro M. It looks better to my taste.

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600, MOBO: MSI Tomahawk B450, RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 3000 (2x8 GB), GPU: MSI RTX 2080 Gaming-X Trio, CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S, PSU: Corsair RM 650, HDD: WD Blue 1TB, SSD: Samsung 860 ECO 500GB, CASE: Fractal Design Meshify C
