First of all, wrong section.

It isn't confirmed, so none of us really know. It could be august like skylake was, or it could be December like some rumors have said, to line it up with amd zen.  The only people that know are probably a few people from Intel lol

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Does anyone have an idea of when the new processors will be released?

I've heard everywhere from August to the end of 2016

Late 2016 is the projection. Could be towards the end of Q3 (August September) could be anytime in Q4 (October to December)

What we do know is that it seems Microsoft has delayed Surface products to get Kaby Lake in there (don't want to launch new products with Skylake again) and that Asus has announced some devices with Kaby Lake but with no release date.

All that could indicate a late Q4 launch.

not news.  Moved to CPUs section

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Intel aims for annual releases and typically it tries to hit the back to school period for sales, so historically they want it on sale August time. Skylake was sort of released about that period a year ago but in low volumes, we may see Kaby lake in a couple of months or it could be late because its a make shift release as the process is delayed another year and they weren't intending to release it. Good arguments either way to say its coming in August or not this year.
