I want to know what coolant material is used for cooling in the liquid cpu coolers that come pre-installed with coolant, like for example, in corsair hydro series h60 cooler?

Most likely distilled water and a biocide to prevent algae and bacterial growth.

depends on what your thermal goals are. most using a system do have a budget and liquid cooling eats into that budget.

do you have to liquid cool? no. should you liquid cool? depends on your budget, achievements, and your overall build appeal.

Watercooling is normally something you do when you dont have much of a budget in mind. Normally you'd be better off saving the money and putting it towards better parts. But, if you already have top end parts with extra money then water cooling is a good way to achieve great overclocks.

Thanks for your promot replies, really helpful

So, basically i can achieve higher overclocks with decent temperature in liquid cooling, rather than the air cooling, and i can go for it if i have the money to spend considering other parts. So, i'll go for it.

Whats the life of these aio liquid coolers, and does it last longer than the air coolers?

Usually AIO last at least 5-7 years as per their warranty, but also add an extra point of failure to air cooler since it uses a pump, that is what usually goes first on those units where fans on AIO and air coolers can easily just be replaced.
