You don't need those fans. The fans the case comes with are good enough.

Also, wait for the release of the rx 480, don't get the R9 380

Oh yeah forgot to say that it's just a placeholder :D

But the case just comes with one 140mm rear fan. Won't I have better airflow and temps if I add two front and two top fans?

As @Knaj said, fans are overkill, you will have no use of those. And also listen to the advice about waiting for rx 480, it's supposed to be released next week.

Also with non-overclockable cpu (only the ones ending in K are overclockable), you don't need this cooler and premium thermal compound. Get this one instead: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/hmtCmG/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rr212e20pkr2, and use the thermal compound that already comes with the cooler.

And are you sure you need an optical drive? If you don't need it immediately, you can skip it and buy an external one later.

I've done quite a bit of research over the past few years and just assumed you need that many fans because nobody includes them in their pcpartpicker because they were "peripherals" like a monitor.

I mean, if you're having trouble with temps, just leave the side panel off :P

And do take a look at the build I linked it's got a lot going for it.

Does that cooler beat the 212 Evo? And if I don't plan on overclocking, is it a better idea to get a cheaper mobo that doesn't overclock and the i5-6500? I could spend the difference on the summer sale :D

It does, in fact it ties the Dark Rock Slim (the Slim is my choice for ayone who can spend a bit more on premium because it's quieter).

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/deepcool-gammaxx-400-slim-tower-cpu-cooler,4460.html

Well, if you don't plan on overclocking, quite simply you're losing out :P But if you're adamant about not doing it, sure grab the 6500 and a cheap mobo (get one with 4 RAM slots in case you need the 32GB upgrade in the future), and then you won't need aftermarket cooling.

But it's worth it. Higher performance CPUs will let you keep a constant 60fps easier especially in CPU heavy games.

When you've answered, I already had 3/4 of my answer written and didn't check the new message.

Do you even know what peripheral means? It's an IO device that allows humans to communicate with a computer. A case fan doesn't give a smelly crap about what you want to do with your pc.

If you check the case documentation or a review, you will see how many fans come with the case, usually the basic config (1 front, 1 back) is enough. Have a look at workshop video about this, Luke tested many different situations and there wasn't much improvement. And even if it were, your build will never generate enough heat to matter, even if there were no case fans.
