Asus Z170 Hero Alpha and fan voltage?

i bought two 140mm noctua nf-a14 fans for my corsair h110i GT and im wondering my CPU_OPT fan header using a pwm splitter will be safe as i cant find anything about fan header voltage in the manual? i think one fan uses 12 volts so thats 24 volts in total. i just didnt want to blow something up

you'll be fine, not even a problem unless you try to plug a delta fan in or daisy chain like 8 normal fans

Each header on mobo will supply max 12V. Its Amps you need to look at. Most headers will supply 1A of currency and you can fit 3-4 fans to single header, all of them running max 12V.

is it 1amp in total for all headers  or 1amp per header?

Per header. Same as with max delivered volts.
