TP-link wireless adapter problems.

MachineKillx

Hey guys, so I have a a Tp-link  TL-WN881ND, it served me well while it was working, but then, out of nowhere, it stopped working, while I was using the pc, I reinstalled it several times now, no results. The status light is not blinking, and I can't see it in device manager, is it, is it really fried? And also, considering I have 15mb internet, which I download stuff at a 1,5mb/s rate (I know it's slow), can I just get a 150mbps card? Can I fix my wireless adapter? :(

I don't understand your question...

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

My wireless adapter, stopped working, while I was using my pc, I've reinstalled it several times with no results, and the status light is not on, neither can I see it in device manager, so is it ok to say it fried?

I've re-read your statement several times now and I think that I understand.

If your wireless adapter died you can get any adapter you want, although you will have a much better experience when you select a adapter that pairs well with your access point.

Thanks for the help. Such a hassle though having to wait for shipping.

I think your TPLink adapter is fried. I have the WN-727N and it runs really hot. Too hot to touch sometimes. I think you're better off just getting a new one from a different brand honestly.

It's completely blown out of proportion. Also if you're the least bit worried about data gathering then you should go live in a cave a 1000Km from the nearest establishment simply because every device and every entity gathers information these days. In the current era privacy is just fallacy and nothing more.
