Id hope so, I had the Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB Video Card, so I dont know what the difference would be in both aspects. Curious as to why I wouldnt need a cpu fan, does the i5 come with a stock or something?

Yes it does come with a stock fan. Bear in mind, it can get nosy sometimes. But'll it'll do it's job. :)
