Ultrawide or 1080p?

I'm looking at getting new monitors and I can't decide between a 29 inch ultrawide or 2 1080p panels... Would would be better for watching videos, light web browsing and gaming?

for gaming: ultrawide

I use 2560x1080 personally, and, I must say, gaming is incredible. You have such a wide field of view, allowing the view of many more things than 16:9 if you crank your FOV up.

for watching videos: depends

if you watch 21:9 content (movies and some youtube videos), ultrawide looks incredible. 

For 16:9 content, you're going to have black bars on either side of the video, which imo takes away from the viewing experience.

web browsing: dual 1080p

although I love the dual windows of ultrawide, I miss not being able to run a monitoring software, skype, teamspeak, etc. on another monitor while in games. Also, while browsing the web, you can split your 1080p panels into 4 windows, for ultimate power.
