I wanted to build a computer that will be able to handle most games and run AutoCAD InventorPro very smoothly (not at the same time). My budget is $1500 US. I currently have a keyboard and mouse that although are both pretty crapy will get the job done for now and I already have a copy of windows 10. No monitors at the moment but will be using a 32in tv that has HDMI and DVI ports so is usable and also falls into the category of will be upgraded eventually.

1) Should I use a single strong card or two weaker cards in SLI/Crossfire?

2) One monitor or two? pros and cons or is it really just preference?

3) I went with the octa core and water cooler combo so I could overclock to 5gHz. Is this overkill or not enough?

4) Also went with overkill power supply so I have plenty of room for upgrades later.

Any other tips are appreciated!

CPU, MOBO, Case, SSD

I need to upgrade the rest.

My current GPU is a r7 370 2gb

Ram is 16gb (4x4) PNY 1600 mHz

Power supply is 850 so usable until I actually upgrade GPU and or crossfire it. overclock hasn't happened either cause the system is kinda loud already and would sound like a freeway if i did.

PSU is EVGA Supernova 850 P2 rated at 80+ platinum

Very good PSU, no need to upgrade, you could probably get away with 3 way SLI or Crossfire on it.
