Oh right, forgot lol. So if I don't get a wifi card I just need to hook up a cable? That shouldn't be too bad. Also, if I keep my current hard drive will I have to repurchase the OS? Cuz I don't want to have to spend another 80 dollars on Windows 10.

It will be kind of hard to do it. This guide tells the steps, but since your Dell computer came with an OEM key (the keys Microsoft sells to manufacturers) and that one can't be put into a different computer.

But you can also download Windows 10 and run it deactivated (not pay any money for it). It will lock down a couple customization options but Microsoft allows people to use it without paying.

Or you can buy a key off Kinguin, which is a site that tracks sales and deals on software. http://www.kinguin.net/category/19429/windows-10-professional-oem-key/

So what I would do is download Windows 10, put it into a USB drive (instructions can be found on the Microsoft site), then install it into your SSD. Once it's installed you can worry about activation keys.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

Allright, I mainly run the default settings anyway. Thanks for your help (again). :D

Unfortunately, swapping hardware like CPU, motherboard and others require you to reinstall the OS as it is tied to the motherboard. If can get your OS key and may reuse it (depending on the licence that you are using) for a fresh install, but that does require you to reinstall all games and applications due to the new system registry. You cannot simply reuse your old OS on a new motherboard with a new CPU.

Your best bet should be to get the best GPU you can get with the budget that you have.

If this helped you, like and choose it as best answer - you might help someone else with the same issue. ^_^

Hmm. Well the GPU cant do much without a new CPU and with that, a new motherboardas well as power supply.
