pc wont post half the time?

hello everyone ive had a pretty crushing day, i went to my brother place to try and help him fix his more or less new computer! msi z170a gaming pro gigabyte 980 ti extreme samsung m.2 950 pro 256gb 2x8gb ddr4 corsair vengeance 2400 intel i7 skylake 6700k. he was playing grand theft auto v and it came up with the watchdog error blue screen of death. after when it boots into windows he has more or less 5 mins untill it happens aigen. i looked it up on my phone and was told to reinstall windows. so we turned it off compleatly. now it will not post only every like 3rd time we restart... we tryed reseting the bios and everything and still we cannot get it to post every time.

what is the POST error code?

check RAM, CPU, GPU, PSU individually

On the bottom right corner of the mobo, there is a little numeric display.

When it downs't post look at that little screen and look up the number in the manual.

Maybe that can help you!

Try switching around that RAM and if that doesn't work only using one stick and see of that works.

Or try reseating the Graphics Card and/or that m.2 drive

we have tryed all of that and it does not seem to be the problem. allso we dont get a error code since we cant get the screen to work on several displays

yeah but whats with that little display on the motherboard itself?

That one should give you an error code!

dont worry about it. this is a pretty insane issue... ive never seen annything this crazy.
