thermal giveth, and thermaltake th away.

fill out your system (as close as possible) on pcpartpicker, it'll say a wattage, take 100-200 watts above that for headroom, and then pick your favourite off this list, with at least the required wattage and you're set.

Hi im confused. I am looking at a tr2 430w but i want to make sure that its good and will support my computer since my first one crapped out. My question is, the 12v rails, each of them is 17-18 amps and how my computer needs 25. Will it work?

What computer are you putting this in?

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

the stirrfryman knows what he's doing :P

but as for the +12v rails thing, a quality power supply should *theoretically* be able to push almost all of its rated power out the 12 volt rail, with for as long as you populate the vareous components with the right plugs you shouldnt worry.
