Hi guys,

As far as I know, you cannot change a Graphics card from a laptop. My Laptop (Dell Inspirion N4050) needed cleaning up and needed a HDD change. I went to the Dell service center and got it done. When I got it back from the shop, after installing the drivers, I noticed that the GPU was an AMD Radeon HD 6470M. I had a 7450M though! I can't understand whats going on. It seems to perform about the same as before so whats the deal here? Should I try downloading drivers from AMD's website for 7450M?

Any help is appreciated, I find this very interesting.

My guess would be that they replaced the laptop and not just the HDD and the replacement/s that they have available use 6470m's.
