Wierd rapid clicking sound when using phone

Hi all. Trying to understand the cause of this weird rapid clicking sound I hear when I listen to bass-heavy songs on my phone. I assumed it was too much bass for my headphones, but I can make the volume higher on my ODAC/Objective 2 with the same song and it's perfectly clear. Using an iphone 6s.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

Thattle happen with lower quality amplifiers, so makes sense why it won't on o2
