Does anyone have any experiences if I will be able to securly fit and mount server boards like

  • ASRock Rack EP2C602
  • ASUS Z9PA-D8C
  • Supermicro X9DRi-F

into ATX Towercases like

  • Fractal Design Define R4/5
  • Chieftec Bravo BA-01B-B-B

to be clear I'm not worried about the space so much (at least the Chieftec Case is *huge*), but more about the proper alignment of the mounting holes.

just judgeing by eye the ASRock and ASUS boards seem to have ATX mounting holes, or atleast some of them, depends on the dimensions of the board but assuming there the same height as a normal ATX board they should mount, the supermicro one does not seem to have those holes however, keep in mind i cant say for certain as all i have seen are pictures but the ASRock and ASUS boards are probably fine as far as i can tell

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Hey Bananasplit,

thanks for the feedback. Its always good to have a 2nd opinion - as you said the pictures might be misleading.

If anyone else is reading this and actually knows for sure if the Asus and/or Asrock Board (or other C602 Dual Socket board in that price range) do fit into an ATX case, i.e. because you already installed one of these in an ATX case I'm grateful for any further input on that matter.
