There's a youtube video where a guy creates a pc with a white theme:

I'd like to create this pc for myself, but instead of using a Galax GTX 980 HOF I was planning on using an ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition.  I was wondering if this was possible?  I heard that pc parts have to be compatible with one another, and I don't know if when I use a different video card, I'll also have to switch out other parts like the power supply or something.

Also, I plan to use this pc for gaming while skyping, but also just for productivity.  So if there are any suggestions for different compatible parts I could use instead of what's listed below, please let me know!

Here's a list of the components of the pc if it's of any help (I copy/pasted from the video's description):

its fine to just swap out that 980TI for a 1080 or other card of your liking, the PSU is enough for any single GPU setup i can think of and that PC look pretty sweet, im not one for looks when it comes to PC but just make sure to keep your cable management clean and you should end up with a really awesome looking PC :)

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

"Here is some advice that might have gotten lost somewhere along the way in your life.

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.
