Ok, so I bought this headset http://genesis-zone.com/en/product/hx77-gaming-headset/ and my PC doesn't recognize them.

When I plug them in the leds don't light up(on the headset), the driver requires the headset to be plugged in during installation but it doesn't recognize it.

I had Windows 10 when I tried this headset the first time, it didn't work and I tested it on 2 other PCs with Windows 7 and Windows 8 and it worked so I figured it was the Windows's fault and I installed Windows 7 but I have the same problem I had before.

I tried disabling driver signature(or something like that), changing bios settings(I have tried all the settings related to usb), followed youtube tutorials of how to fix Code 43 error on the device manager(the error that I have) and tried all the ports (front and back). Also after I installed the USB 3 driver on Windows 7(no driver for Windows 10) there was no longer and error code in the device manager and it just appeard as unknown device without the yellow triangle.

Motherboard:  GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 CPU: i7 4790k

Try this:

Step 1: Plug in your headset to your computer

Step 2: Open Device Manager

Step 3: Open the "Audio Inputs and Outputs" tab

Step 4: Right click on your device

Step 5: Click the "Uninstall Option"

Step 6: Open the "Sound, video and game controllers" tab

Step 7: Right click on "High Definition Audio Device"

Step 8: Click the "Uninstall Option" also doing this for any other items in this section.

Step 9: Keep your headset plugged into your computer, and power it off.

Step 10: Turn on your computer

Step 11:  Test your headset

Motivation is where, and what you make of it.

“It is relatively unusual that a physical scientist is truly an atheist. Why is this true? Some point to the anthropic constraints, the remarkable fine tuning of the universe. For example, Freeman Dyson, a Princeton faculty member, has said, ‘Nature has been kinder to us that we had any right to expect.'”  Albert Einstein

Backup your files and try reinstalling windows with the headset plugged in (for good measure).

It didn't work. Could it be that the usb ports are somehow broken? Because it's to big a coincidence for the headset to be working on 2 other PCs, both with low-end hardware, if it is broken.

I though you said you had tested them, and they were working?
