I have a Samsung series 5 ultrabook and it blue screens when waking up from sleep and sometimes when i use the hotkeys.

Specs are: Intel i5 3317u 1.7GHz

Intel HD4000

8GB DDR3 1600MHz (came with 4GB, added 4GB of patriot 1600MHz

24GB SSD cache + 500GB 5400rpm HDD

13.3" 1366x768 screen

Windows 7 Home Premium.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

could possibly be the ram? like, matching the patriot stuff with the stock RAM that came with it? not much else other than that sounds out of place!

I agree, most likely the ram is the culprit.

It would be best to buy an 8GB kit 2*4GB sticks and sell the stock 4GB.

You did run 24 hours of MEMtest86+ before and after adding the extra memory, right?

If you pass that then run 24 hours of Prime95 Blend.

If you pass that and still have the BSOD, warranty.

Just a question...Did you catch the BSOD code? Like the first 0x000...? What was that code?
