Im new to building pc's any suggestions are welcomed. I need a pc that can handle gaming and things such as editing, programming, and animation. My budget is around $1500 U.S. I was thinking of going with the following:

Case: I already have a raidmax vortex v4. However, I was wondering if I should buy another case. Any suggestions?

Motherboard: not sure maybe a Asus z170 pro. I really need some recommendations.

Cpu: Intel I 7 6700k

Gpu: gtx 1080 or 1070

Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz

Psu: not sure I was thinking of going with a 750 80+ gold semi or fully modular. Any suggestions?

Storage: I already have a WD 1TB BLACK

PS: I already have an optical drive, os, monitors, mouse and keyboard.

Is there anything I should change or add?

How would you go about building this pc?

Save the money and go 6600k. The 6700k provides no extra gaming power. A 6600k is enough in a gaming machine.

Could just go with something like that, in your preferred form factor. You could save the money from the 6700k, and maybe swing a little into the 1080 budget VS the 1070. Since you've already got some parts, it'll help with going 1080 over the 1070.

I personally have a 6700k, but I use my PC for alot more than just gaming.

Thank you for the suggestions. My reason for wanting to go with the 6700k was bc in addition to gaming I am also going to work on video editing and rendering, graphic design, and animations.
